Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?

Perhaps most interesting is that it gathers all the links from their websites into one.

Gravatar es una imagen que sigue de un sitio a otro y que aparece junto a su nombre cuando usted hace cosas como comentarios o post en un blog. Avatares ayudan a identificar sus posts en blogs y foros web, así que ¿por qué no en cualquier sitio?

Quizas lo mas interesante es que reune los enlaces de todos sus sitios web en uno solo.
